My Review of of Blackhawk A.V.I.A.T.O.R. Gloves

The Blackhawk A.V.I.A.T.O.R. Gloves immediately caught my attention due to their reputation among LEOs and military personnel. And let me tell you, they lived up to the hype right from day one. The mixture of cloth and leather creates a comfortable fit that remains usable even with a smartphone, a crucial feature in today’s world.

One of the standout qualities for me is the exceptional grip these gloves offer. Whether it’s handling firearms or maneuvering my bike, these gloves provide the confidence and security I need. Plus, they’ve held their color even under the blazing sun, which is a big bonus considering I often expose gear to harsh conditions. Designed for maximum dexterity, these gloves enable wearers to handle firearms and equipment, and perform intricate tasks with precision. Reinforcements in critical areas maintain flexibility while ensuring protection.

Comfort is paramount during long shifts, and these gloves excel in that department. I can wear them all day without any discomfort, thanks to their great dexterity and ease of use. They’ve become my go-to choice, and I genuinely hope Blackhawk never discontinues them.

However, there are some downsides that needs addressing. I’ve noticed that when these gloves get wet from sweat or rain, the dye tends to bleed onto the skin. It’s a minor inconvenience, but something that I wish could be improved upon in future iterations.

Regarding sizing, they do run a bit small, but surprisingly, this actually aids in achieving a better fit. If they feel snug initially, a quick fix is to use rubbing alcohol or soak them in hot water to stretch them out. Once adjusted, they fit securely without any concerns about slipping off.

Another appreciated aspect is the lack of Velcro closures, which often get dirty and lose their stickiness over time. And if the cuff bothers you, a simple solution is to roll it forward for added comfort.
