US Peacekeeper Shooting Mat Review
I feel that the US Peacekeeper P20300 Tactical Shooting Mat is a great option to consider, but it won’t suit everyone as I have found that this is perfect for some scenarios but not others.
This mat is super thick with great padding and quite big, it’s 72″ in length and 36″ wide; so you don’t need to worry about your elbows hanging off this mat. This size is a pro and a con, when you’re setup and comfortable this size is what you want, if you’re wanting something a little more portable, this mat might not be for you.
For me I’m using this style and size mat for long range shooting, so I’m only needing to get this mat from the truck to the shooting mound, so size in this case isn’t an issue for me. Occasionally if I’m carrying a lot of gear in my truck, also trying to fit this mat in can be a pain – but for the most part, it’s fine.
But if I’m packing for a hunting trip or wanting to travel a little lighter I would be packing my Magic Carpet by Eberlestock.
The peacekeeper has great features like a non-slip area for your elbows, pockets for your ammo, shoulder strap, log book pocket, and even a ballistic cheat sheet window.
So if you’re looking for a top-quality shooting mat that has all the bells and whistles, the US Peacekeeper P20300 Tactical Shooting Mat is definitely worth checking out.
