David Lane learned to shoot at a young age in the Boy Scouts and has spent most of his life since working on, competing with, and writing about firearms. A firearms builder and tinkerer, he writes about AR builds, gunsmithing, and firearms upgrades for Gun University. He is also an active competitive shooter in NRL22 and PRS (Precision Rifle Series), and currently serves as Online Editor for RECOIL Magazine.
